Just call our office and we will be happy to assist you. Unless required by your insurance, you do not need a referral to make an appointment.

We do not do any blood tests, radiological studies or endoscopies in our office. We do provide breath tests to evaluate for carbohydrate intolerances and small bowel bacterial overgrowth.

New prescriptions we will either give to you at the time of your visit or call in to your pharmacy. For refill requests we ask that you call your pharmacy and ask them to fax us a refill request. Please be sure your labs and visits are up-to-date, so we can process these requests.

For non-urgent issues please call us during regular working hours. This allows us to review your child’s chart so we can best help you. If you have an urgent issue during regular hours please let us know so that we can return your call as soon as possible.

For urgent issues after hours call our office at 847-724-7825 and the voice mail message will instruct you how to page the doctor on call. Please be aware that there is a $30.00 charge for all after-hour calls.

In general Dr Nelson will see your child until they graduate from college or when they turn 21.
